Rhythm on the Ridge Includes 2Late

The Annual Rhythm on the Ridge Music Festival will include 2Late in 2010. The festival features the very best of the Capital District's musicians performing only original music. 2Late was selected from a large number of applicants to anchor the small stage. The all-day festival features music and vendors all day June 12.

Songwriters Showcase Features 2Late

The Songwriters Workshop sponsored "Singing for Their Dinner," a showcase of local singer/songwriters. Featured performs were 2Late and Peter Yakel with Flood Road. Eight other songwriters showcased their material. The even raised money for the Northeast Regional Food Bank.

2Late Headlines Howl at the Moon

2Late was the featured performer at the second concert in the Howl at the Moon series at Mabee Farms in Rotterdam Junction. The concert series features local bands playing in a historic setting on the banks of the Mohawk River.

2Late Opens for Cheryl Wheeler

2Late appeared at the Linda Norris Auditorium as the opening act for their favorite songwriter, Cheryl Wheeler on October 3, 2008

2Late Joins Joshua Szostak Birthday Bash

2Late joined many other revelers April 19, 2008, as the friends and family of Joshua Szostak celebrated his 22nd birthday. Josh has been missing since Christmas time when he was last seen in downtown Albany.

CRUMBS names 2Late for CRUMBS Nite Out in March

2Late appeared at the Linda Norris Auditorium as part of CRUMBS Nite Out on March 27, 2008. The concert was rebroadcast on April 16 on WAMC.

Desperation wins Lyrics Contest

Please join us in congratulating Mike. The lyrics to Desperation (One Last Chance) placed fourth in the American Songwriter Magazine Lyrics Contest. The contest attracts amateur songwriters from across the country. The top four finishers have their lyrics published in the magazine. Vicki found our copies at Borders. The lyrics appeared in the November/December 2006 issue, and can be found on the magazine's website.

2Late Selected for Shine Festival

2Late is proud to announce that they have been chosen to participate in Sunmark Federal Credit Union's Shine festival. The festival recognizes local songwriters for their exceptional talent. Winners performed at the Pruyn House in October 2006. A compilation CD is available at Sunmark branches. Proceeds from CD sales benefit local arts programs in the schools.
