Where We Are
Friday, March 11th, 2016: A Natural Way, Guilderland. Wearing of the Green? You never know what we’re going to get at the open mic. Unless Neil is there; then you’ll get an old country song that Vicki hasn’t “thought of in years!”. You’ll also get wonderful food, a friendly atmosphere and more terrific music. Sign up anytime until 7:00 and we’ll get you in. 5:30-7:30 PM.
Saturday, April 9th, 2016: Cafe NOLA. No more Lent. Come celebrate the New Orleans way, with fine food from Kevin and Robin, and fine music from us. 6:30-9 PM.
Friday, April 15th, 2016: Emack and Bolio’s. Easter will have come and gone (it gets here early this year). Our forecast of temperatures in the 60s didn’t work out in February, but maybe it will in April. 7-10 PM.

What We’re Up To
Mike recorded At Seventeen for Drew Jacobs, who wrote a parody of the song.
FAWM (February Album-Writing Month, a challenge to write 14 songs in 28 … or 29 … days) is over. Mike lost count. But he made his goal. Will he actually set any of these songs to music? He already has.
We are rooting for the Great Danes as they enter the tournament for a chance to return to the NCAAs. Wisconsin posted another big win, and is now almost certainly going dancing. Quite a turnaround from when Mike left them for dead at 1-4 in the Big Ten back in January.
What We Like
President Obama responds to Trump’s birther nonsense. This is how we deal with this guy.
We would really like to post Jill Sobule’s America Back, but it’s not family-friendly or safe for work, so we won’t.
Mary Chapin Carpenter takes her chances.
Sometimes new writers write old songs. Don’t believe us? Gillian Welch wrote Orphan Girl. Here she performs it with David Rawlings.
